Jumper - Topshop Sale
Leopard Collar top - Topshop Sale
Black Top - Topshop Sale
Earrings and Ring - Topshop Sale
Heels - Newlook Sale

Sales - I bloody hate them. Online they are a MASSIVE pain as everything that is in my size goes out of stock within a minute. Yes...one whole minute. I get the email that tells me it's begun and ONE minute later, there is nothing left. In store it is usally the same; grabbing things that you love only to find they have it in a size 6 or 16. Usually that would be just standard disappointment, however in a sale its heightened due to the fact you know you've spent an hour stampeding through crowds and rummaging through piles and piles of clothes only to find that the one thing you actually like, you can't buy. Even with all of this, I still dragged myself out on boxing day to see if I could find any bargains.

Topshop was amazing. Everything was so perfectly organised into sections and barely anything was on the floor which meant I was in and out pretty quick, completely chuffed with my finds! However everywhere else seemed to be a complete nightmare. My sister went in to River Island and not only was the queue trailing out the door, but the clothes were EVERYWHERE and had no sorting order AT ALL. I don't even think the changing rooms were open which is always REALLY useful. All of the other shops seemed to follow suit, the shopping center itsself not being that much better.

That aside I still managed to pick up some pretty good bargains. (I forgot to include the ring I got from Miss Selfridge for a pound!) However I still havn't been completely converted in to loving sales. I think if your after jewellery then theres no where better but I think I'd still rather pay for an item full price than acting like some crazy possessed woman for a day (I think the Mean Girls 'animals by the watering hole' scene fits this scenario perfectly). Maybe I should buy a book on how to survive sale shopping? Or how to be mega successful at it? Or maybe I'll keep slumming it in bed, refreshing internet pages so I just get to the sales first ;)

  2. The collar top is lovely :) I strangely quite like the 'rummage around' aspect of sales, as it feels really good when you stumble upon a bargain - though really annoying when it's not in your size! x

  9. Sales are always such a nightmare, I've avoided them completely so far this year! I agree that jewellery is always great in the sale but rummaging for hours to find half-decent clothes just isn't worth it!
Love that first jumper, it's gorgeous. And the shoes too, New Look are always my favourite for heels!

  10. I absolutely hate sale shopping. There is always too many people and everything is everywhere and you're right its always the size 6 and size 16 left. Topshop are usually quiet organised though. You got some lovely stuff! You should write a book on survival tips I need a few haha!

  13. You have some gorgeous bits lovely :) The shoes are amazing, and I adore the Topshop collar one!
I hate looking through sales too, and then there's hardly anything decent left expect for last summers dress that no one liked- I find online better, or if you go to the bigger stores. I got myself a few bits from Newlook, but that was hard enough x
