MARC B

Recently, my subconscious has been tormenting me. It has almost developed a 'designer bag radar'; drawing my gaze to people that I can barely see, just because they are carrying a Mulberry Bag. It almost seems as though every person in the world is carrying one and I'm the exception. The worst part is, it's not just with Mulberry Bags. Hermes are also a favourite of mine at the moment but being an 18 year old student, £600-£2000 pound on a bag can not be rationalised, let alone possible.

Yesterday I went shopping in hope of finding a dress for a friends birthday but like usual, when your looking for something, you never find it. Just before I left the second shopping center, I went into Topshop (for the fourth time), now looking for jewellery to spice up a dress I already own (desperate times). However, I came out with this Marc B bag.

Don't take this to mean I was disappointed. In fact, it made 6 hours of shopping totally worth it. This is the Lottie Bag; a briefcase shape with ostrich straps and base. It also has characteristics of the Hermes Birkin Bag which, in my head, makes me feel like I am one step closer to owning one. *cough* Saddo *cough*. Now I just need my exams to be over in order to show this bad boy off....

VERO MODA

Navy Skirt - Vero Moda
Cropped Vest Top - Vero Moda
Peach 3/4 sleeve Top - Vero Moda
Watermelon Sleeveless Top - Vero Moda
Wedges - New Look

Vero Moda is one of these brands that I've been following through Asos for over a year now, owning a few tops here and there but always wanting something more. Even though some of my Vero Moda items are a year old, I still love them to pieces. (Click to see a top I already own)  However it wasn't until they actually contacted me that I thought of looking at their website, and my god am I glad I did? Not only do they have Alexa Chung to model their latest range (doesn't that make you love them even more?) but they have everything you'd want to keep up with the latest fashion; embellished shirts, asymmetric skirts e.t.c. at really affordable prices!

My favourite item, as you may have guessed, is the asymmetric skirt in navy. As some of you may know, I'm incredibly short and so this style of skirt doesn't usually suit me. However the back of this skirt isn't drastically longer than the front, so my stubby calves don't look even shorter than they actually are!

The crop top is perfect for festivals with it's geo print and loose fit and the other tops are just lovely to have in your wardrobe, especially the melon top for summer!
Of course, there is always something else that I would like so this is my Vero Moda wishlist. After trying on that peach three quarter arm top I've decided that I really like that length of sleeve as it hides my weird bulging arms...and no not bulging as in muscles ;)

What is your favourite item? Does anyone else own anything from Vero Moda?
