One Day We're Gonna Live In Paris

Just putting up these pictures has made me want to go back to Paris! I went for 4 days and managed to see pretty much everything that I wanted. From going up the Arc De Triomphe to riding bikes along the river, I managed to see so much of the city in such a small amount of time. The weather was amazing (one day was so hot that I began to feel slightly ill!) which made everything look a million times prettier than it was already.

The city itself was quite expensive but we soon learnt that if we didn't eat or drink near any major touristy attractions, we could afford to do quite alot. That was until our card was declined in a restaurant and we came to discover that it had been cloned whilst we had been away and someone had rented two cars in the South of France! Luckily it was one of those Cash Passport Cards (which I would still recommend considering) so we were insured and will hopefully get our money back shortly!

One of my favourite afternoons consisted of finding a bar made out shipping containers and deck chairs along the river (photo above) and we just sat and had a few drinks listening to French music.

Our hotel was called 'Le Seven', and it was in the Latin Quarter of the city. It was the most beautiful area with lots of cafe's where you could sit outside and patisseries to get breakfast in the morning.

I've taken the pictures off of the website as due to the lighting in the rooms, it was really hard to show how amazing it was. Our room was called 'Closer to the Stars' and with a levitating bed with the bathroom behind it, it was one of the most amazing hotels I have ever seen. The hotel really made the holiday that extra bit special, and if anyone is thinking about going to Paris, I'd really recommend spending the extra money and getting somewhere beautiful to stay.

Has anyone else been to Paris? Did you do anything a bit different?
