River Island White Platforms

Buying white shoes is a risk. Wearing them to a BBQ on the first time - just plain dumb. I've already got grass marks on that my usual 'i'll rub it off with baby wipes' routine has failed to diminish, and has caused for a re-think in my stain removal technique.

They are also a risk if you are an avid black jean wearer like myself. Everyone know's the first rule of making your legs appear longer is to wear the same coloured shoes as your trousers. Thus going the opposite way surely has the opposite affect, and I don't need my legs to appear any shorter than they already do.

Luckily, I think the platform helps with the latter (please don't correct me if i'm wrong). Other justifications include being super comfy, kinda trendy, and just beautiful to look at.

Moral of the story: take risks. They sometimes pay off (or you do anyway, a mere £60 in this case).
