Gym For Your Skin? - Mio Review

People exercise for different reasons. Whether it's to lose weight, tone up, increase your overall fitness or try and become more positive and mentally stronger - exercise can help you a number of ways. As someone that used it for multiple purposes - weight loss and definitely to help me stay focused and strong mentally, I guess you can say that I enjoyed reaping not only the physical but the mental benefits. But the physical benefits are a tad masked behind typical skin woes and I often think that if parts of my body were a bit smoother, they would look a lot more toned.

Introducing Mio. They specialise in fit skin, and combining a healthy lifestyle with skincare - something that pretty unheard of! But when you think about it, the two really go hand-in-hand. I was sent a couple of products to review from the brand, and after a few weeks of trialling and testing, I can't imagine my fitness regime being without these miracle-workers.

1. Skin Tight Body Serum
A thick, gel like texture that claims to 'smooth and retexturise uneven and creepy skin - think juicy grape not wrinkly raisin'. It advises you to use this as a first step in your skincare regime, so I have been letting this sink in before using my second Mio product - The Future Proof Firming Active Body Butter. It's really easy to apply and is absorbed really quickly. I'm not the biggest fan of the consistency, as it does feel a bit sticky when applying, but luckily that goes away!

The product tingles slightly after it's sinked in which makes me feel like it's doing something, even though I've seen no real noticeable affects as of I have a lot of hope for the future! I'll definitely keep you posted on that one.

2. Future Proof Firming Active Body Butter
'Mega-moisturises, increases bounce and resilience' - this product does exactly what it says on the tub. My skin feels so soft after applying this, and it looks really radiant which is a nice extra. Due to how good it feels and looks, I feel like it does have a bit more of that 'resilience', and I feel that after a few more weeks of using this, my skin is going to be completely reinvented. My one flaw? The smell is slightly medicinal, but it doesn't linger for too long :)

3. The Run Faster Kit - Workout Wonder Invigorating Muscle Motivating Gel, Liquid Yoga Bath Soak and Clean Slate Workouts Wipes
This gel is amazing. In fact, I'll go as far to say that anybody that exercises needs it as part of their routine. You apply it before you go for a run or workout and also after. It tingles and gets your muscles working before you've had the chance to push them to their limits. Why is this good? Because they then recover so much faster. Noticeably so in fact. This is definitely something I'll be repurchasing.

The bath soak is lovely and has a smell that reminds me of other muscle soak products. I find baths to be really helpful when your aching, so haven't noticed the benefits of this product as much, but I really enjoyed relaxing with this.

The wipes are very self explanatory, and really handy to keep in your gym bag when you need a quick freshen up. A must have if your on a tight schedule!

If you're interested in any of the products, you can visit Mio Here.  They're website is great as you can pick your problem areas and find products to help you through that. They also have some great bundles, like the Gym Kit, where you can get the Workout Wonder Gel and Workout Wipes in one!

Has anybody tried Mio before or heard of products similar to this? I'd love to know your thoughts!
