Weekly Roundup - Soap and Glory Perfect 10, The Perfect Winter Jumper & More...

Over the last week, there's a few thing's that I've been truly loving, so I thought I'd do a little roundup with you and share what I've found!

1. Soap And Glory Perfect 10 Eyeshadow Palette

Considering I'm trying to build my MAC palette, buying anymore eyeshadows seems pretty unneccessary. But after regretting not purchasing last year's Soap and Glory's Perfect 10 (they're limited edition), and realising I had enough points on my Boots card to get this practically free, I knew what I had to do.

Packaging wise, I don't know if I love it or hate it. It's very lightweight which is great for travelling, and I like the general feel and size of it, but I just think for something limited edition, the front should be slightly more...timeless. But all is forgotten once you open the aforementioned lid and your eyes feast upon the beauty that is 'the Perfect 10'. It's rare that you open a palette and think 'I'm going to use every colour here', but that's exactly what you get with this one. The shadows are pretty pigmented and last all day...I couldn't fault it at all. Here's a little breakdown:

Moon Mist: A shimmery highlight shade, perfect for the inner corners of your eye and arch of the eyebrow.
Minky: Similar to Moon Mist but with that hint of pink, perfect for all over the lid.
Nudecomer: A matte pink/nude shade that is great for all over the lid.
Copper: Look no further for a bronzed shimmer look.
Toasty: A pink/brown matte that looks great in the crease to give your eyelid that contoured look.
Damsel: A slightly brighter pink/purple shimmer, dazzling for nights out.
Cream Soda: More of a natural highlight than Moon Mist if you wanted a glam daytime look.
Choccy: What eyeshadow palette is complete without a dark brown? This slightly shimmery one is perfect for a smokey eye or to use as a liner.
Plumtious: I'll probably get the least wear out of this as it is a dark purple, but when dressing up, would look great blended out of Damsel!
Shoulder: Because a black eyeshadow always comes in handy!

3. Newcastle Infographic

This week I've been featured on an infographic about the hidden gems of Newcastle. I had the chance to recomend an eatery that I love, and of course it had to be Ernest. A bar/cafe that serves all types of food, but breakfast is their speciality for me. From chorizo and eggs to the 'hash bowl' (aka. the best breakfast you've ever had), if you're ever in Newcastle and looking for an Instagram-worthy breakfast, look no further.

4. The Jumper of Dreams

I found this last week, and nabbed the only size 10 left in stock. It's so typical that whenever a good jumper hits Primark, all the size 6 and 8s go immediately, but luckily the 10 gives an oversized and very cosy look. Can you believe it's Primark? I thought it looked so much more expensive!

If you liked this weekly roundup and would like to see another, let me know!
