Fast Forward to Spring

Dress: Warehouse / Shoes: ASOS / Bag: Zara / Leather Jacket: Zara / Belt: Accessorize

A reoccurring annoyance of mine, being 5' 2", is the constant paranoia of appearing as though I'm playing dress-up in my Mum's wardrobe.
Oversized Cardigans - Just forget it
Boyfriend Fit Jeans - I look about 12
Longline Shirts - We've switched from Mum's wardrobe, to Dad's.

This only continues when tackling the midi trend. Midi dresses often veer into the maxi territory, or just hang terribly and sometimes I think it's better to just steer clear. But then I went into Warehouse, and I gazed upon the beauty that is this. My preconceptions, inhibitions, and bank-fund awareness went out the window and two seconds (or twenty minutes after a serious try on) later, I was walking out of the shop, dress in tow.

I've styled this with a belt to give it a little more shape and my favourite ASOS heels for an evening look. I'm still worried about styling this for the day, so any shoe recommendations would be welcome.

Has anybody else started their Spring shopping? What do you think of midi dresses?
